Cleaning emergency service

The CLEANING EMERGENCY SERVICE began to operate on 6 November 2001, using the slogan "CLEAN POZNAŃ”. It was established for the purpose of intervening in remediation of road collision remnants, dead animals, bulky waste abandoned within the road zone, broken tree branches undermining road traffic safety, and carrying out substitute activities. It is a 24-hour service extending across the entire area of the city of Poznań, including the road zone and municipal areas.
In 2002, the CLEAN EMERGENCY SERVICE undertook 3238 interventions, and in 2003 there were as many as 5155 interventions!

City dwellers may notify the service of such contamination as enumerated above via the City Guards’ duty phone line at 986.
